Our Fractional RF Treatments will tackle any type of scarring. Utilizing both Radio Frequency and Thermal Tissue Disription, F-RF will leave your skin looking and feeling smoother and more even after even just your first treatment. Whether from acne, stretch marks or an injury, this ablative process will disrupt the foundation of the scar, help revitalize the skin and over time, dramatically reduce the appearance of the scars themselves.

While there is no downtime, expect 5-7 days of noticeable redness and mild swelling as your skin heals from the treatment. Gentle mineral makeup can be worn after 24 hours, SPF 50 sunscreen must be worn for a month following treatment.

All FR Treatments require a one-time patch test visit before the first treatment.

Contraindications:

Please call our office before scheduling if you have any of the following so we can ensure the safest and most effective treatment plan for you.

  • Implanted Electrical device
  • History of metal implant in the treatment field
  • Cancer
  • Any active skin disease in the treatment area
  • History of diease in treatment area that may be stimulated by heat, such as herpes
  • Sunburn in treatment area
  • Tattoo or permenant makeup in treatment area
  • Pregnancy (including IVF)
  • Blood coagulopathy or excessive bleeding or bruising
  • Use of blood thinning medications, both prescription or over the counter. 
  • History of DVT
  • History of Keloid scars
  • Impaired immune system or use of drugs that impair the immune system
  • Hepatitis or liver disease
  • Uncontrolled thyroid disease
  • Childbirth in past 6 months, breast feedin in the last 3
  • Use of silicon or synthetic fillers in the past 2 weeks. 
  • Use of accutaine in the past 6 months
  • Any cosmetic or medical surgury in treatment area in the last 3 months
  • Use of medium chemical peels in the past two weeks
  • Use of deep chemical peels or ablative laser in last 3-6 months 
  • Meso-threads in the treatment areas in the last 1-2 months
  • Botox in the last 5-7 days
  • Use of any topical irritants in the last 2-3 days
